It's really tricky to list ALL of the best places to take pictures in and around Dallas, TX but I'm going to give it my best effort. There are many photogenic places in this amazing metroplex of ours. There are creative murals, spacious green parks, great architecture, and cool sculptures and water features all around Dallas and the many suburbs. Beautiful landscapes, bridges, murals, and even waterfalls are ready to serve as the perfect backdrop at your session. downtown mckinney
Downtown McKinney is a great outdoor location with lots of rustic buildings, fun and creative wall murals, benches, winding staircases and interesting alleyways. It's very easy to walk around and change locations quickly for lots of variety.

central park - frisco, TX
Central Park is a fantastic outdoor space with a large spacious grassy park with trees and stonework. There are also large Western-themed sculptures, scenic trails and a "waterfall". Easy to walk around and change locations quickly.

arbor hills nature preserve - plano, tx
Arbor Hills is a fantastic outdoor location (a 200-acre park) which features grass, trees, hiking trails, water (to play in when weather permits), bridges, and "hills" . It's very easy to walk around and change locations quickly to maximize a wide variety of backgrounds. Even when the park is busy (and it often is), there's always room to "get the shot".

the cotton mill - mckinney, tx
The Cotton Mill is an indoor/outdoor location that has been used for movies, music videos, fashion shoots, weddings and all kinds of things because of its clean industrial looks. It has a huge warehouse space that has beautiful natural light as well as a large and gorgeous atrium area. Easy to walk around and change locations quickly.
There is a cost of rental for this location which is added to the cost of the session. It's the perfect location for an extended family session, engagement, or senior session when we need more time for outfit changes. I also offer "Family Mini Sessions" here once a year so feel free to ask about that if you really want this location but worry about the added price.

the Prosper silos - prosper, tx
The silos in Prosper make a cool, industrial backdrop for any type of session. I also like that it works no matter what season we find ourselves in. There's tall grasses and bits of green can be found all around to give plenty of variety.
Location : No exact location so I use "SilosPark (Food Truck Park)" for the GPS. If you book this location, I will send you a link for driving directions before the session. Cost: FREE
Frisco Heritage Center – Frisco, Texas
Frisco Heritage Center is a great outdoor location with lots of grass and Texas/country/Western charm. Easy to walk around and change locations quickly. As an added bonus, it's right next to Babe's Chicken. Make sure to grab dinner after the session!

deep ellum
There are tons of murals in the Dallas art distric to serve as a vibrant backdrop and to give your pictures locality and personality. The 42 Murals project showcases historic buildings in the Deep Ellum section of the citywith vibrant works of art all around.

dallas Arboretum
This is a great place for pictures in Dallas because its gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for photos no matter the time of year. There are colorful blooms in the spring through summer and in the fall, the garden is filled with pumpkins and festive decor..

Erwin Park – McKinney, TX
Erwin Park is an expansive outdoor space with lots of open fields and grass. Easy to walk around and change locations quickly. Best time to photograph here is in the evenings when the sun is setting. Address: 4300 Co Rd 1006, McKinney, TX 75071 Cost: FREE
Adriatica – McKinney,TX
